Kim Hosler is a long-time learning and development leader with over 25 years’ experience in learning leadership roles both in the corporate sector and in higher education. She is passionate about developing effective and engaging learning and professional development initiatives that align with an organization’s business needs, vision and mission.

Education

Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts in French from Bethany College, and her Master of Education (M.Ed) from Kent State. She received her Ph.D. in Educational Technology from the University of Northern Colorado.

Professional Background

Recently Kim retired from the U.S. Air Force Academy, where she led course and curriculum development as their Director of Instructional Design. Prior to moving into higher education, Kim held various learning and development management positions across several different businesses, including software, telecommunications and financial services.

In her various training and professional development roles, Kim collaborated with trainers, college faculty, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to identify, design, implement, and assess learning and development initiatives based on organizational needs. These initiatives included 1-2 hour in-person workshops, full-day and multi-day courses, and the development of online learning modules.

Motivation for Teaching

Kim demonstrates her commitment to high-quality teaching by providing detailed feedback to her students to support their success. She enjoys working with adult learners and helping them advance in their careers through continuing education. Her background in both corporate and higher education has given her a strong appreciation for effective instructional design and the creation of competent learning and development teams that support a learning organization.

As the Global Learning Operations Director at Oracle, Kay Rudisill (D.M,. University of Phoenix) leads a virtual global team that handles the program management of internal professional and leadership development solutions across the globe. Kay has an MBA and a doctorate in Organizational Leadership. She has lived over 20+ years in Europe, where she learned languages and European culture. Her current passion is to enhance awareness and communication effectiveness. Kay lives in the mountains in Colorado, where during her free time she is attending Aikido seminars or training on the mat in Boulder.

Kerry Mitchell has spent more than 20 years making organizations happier places to work. She uses her knowledge and experience to help leaders and employees at Fortune 500, nonprofits and government agencies increase employee engagement.

Kerry works with organizations to help employees and organizations thrive. She helps organizations understand issues with employee engagement and provides customized solutions for improving team and organization performance. As a consultant, Kerry observes organizations in all sectors and uses that knowledge to equip students with the latest workplace trends and concerns. She has a vast array of real-life examples that demonstrate concepts learned in the courses she teaches.

Additionally, Kerry is SHRM-SCP certified and is a member of SHRM. She engages in events and conferences and brings connections to students. She also volunteers her time as a facilitator to Mavericks of Senior Living.

Johanna Robb is a coach, facilitator and trainer with over 15 years of experience serving individuals, teams and organizations. With expertise in leadership and team dynamics, she is passionate about making a positive impact by elevating awareness of effective communication practices.

Education

Johanna earned her B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and her Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) with additional certifications in professional coaching and team assessment tools.

Professional Background

Johanna began her career in the clean energy field, where she led stakeholder engagement, facilitated statewide workshops, designed communication strategies and developed public partnerships. After becoming certified as a professional coach, she worked as a Talent Management Specialist at the US Department of Energy. Here, Johanna managed leadership development programs and provided coaching and team-building services.

Johanna has taught at the University of Denver’s College of Professional Studies since 2017. She teaches courses in team dynamics, effective communication, facilitation and training. She also manages a consulting business at Stellar Teaming, specializing in supporting flexible teams through training and team-building services.

Bio

Natriece Bryant (MA, University of Colorado–Denver; MCJ, University of Colorado – Denver; MBA, Regis University) is the Division Director for the Division of State Property for the State of Colorado where she oversees the Office of State Architect, Public-Private Partnership Collaboration Unit, and the Office of Capital Assets.

Previously, she was the Public-Private Partnership Director for the Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration where she oversaw all programs and projects in relation to public private partnerships, including affordable housing, early childcare, behavioral/mental health capacity expansion and broadband expansion. Natriece also served as the Deputy Chief Customer Officer at the Governor’s Office of Information Technology. Her role was to execute and direct all state IT programs, define statewide technology strategies, interagency communications and statewide technology communication policies and projects. She oversaw customer success for all business areas in the department and managed high-level programs and projects for the state.

Natriece has also served as the Office of Economic Development and International Trade State and Local Stimulus Coordinator for the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) dollars. In that role she provided guidance to executive leadership regarding funding for affordable housing, workforce, behavioral health, and mental health projects statewide. She also managed stakeholder engagement and strategic communications with local governments on projects and provided guidance on spending plans for state agencies in compliance with ARPA guidelines.

Previously, she was the Department of Local Affairs’ Deputy Executive Director where she managed all operations for affordable housing, local government, policy, property taxation and assessment appeals statewide and served as the State Complete Count Committee Chair for the 2020 Census. She also worked for the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies in the Divisions of Financial Services and Banking to oversee all compliance, education, and outreach strategies for 60 banks and 39 credit unions. She developed the BankSafe program in partnership with AARP for Colorado to ensure financial safety and security for older Coloradans.

She has worked on community planning and population distribution in Denver and statewide on issues surrounding driver’s licenses for immigrants in Colorado as well as housing for those hardest-to-serve groups.

Natriece has worked with both public and private sector clients on change management and been certified as a Lean Six-Sigma trainer. Natriece has three master’s degrees in business administration, sociology and criminal justice. She also has a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Throughout his career, Jeff has distinguished himself as an influential communicator, strategic operator, and lifelong learner. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Religious Studies, a Master of Divinity (MDiv), and a Juris Doctor (JD) from Western Michigan University.

Professional Background

Jeff’s career path is intentionally diverse, with progressive leadership roles in both nonprofit and for-profit sectors, as well as entrepreneurial experience through his own consulting firm. In the corporate space, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the AT division at MasTec North America [MTZ], a Fortune 500 specializing in infrastructure and engineering. In the nonprofit sector, Jeff was the founding executive director of a statewide chapter of HomeAid America, overseeing the development of housing solutions for homeless families. As a consultant, he has provided executive-level operations support and business-analysis services for clients including Synergies3 Tec Services, Zayo, and AT&T.

Currently, Jeff is a partner at Motivant, where he leverages his executive capabilities across sectors such as harm reduction (Harm Shield), regenerative science (Asciere), laboratory operations (Cellestiq), and holistic wellness (Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center). He also serves on the board of directors for Break the Box, a firm dedicated to advancing homeownership and creating generational wealth in African-American and minority communities across the U.S.
