AD Al-Ghourabi has over 15 years of experience in web, mobile, collaboration, and digital marketing and strategy. Recognized as a seasoned business and technology leader, he has championed several innovative and digital transformation solutions that drive operational excellence and increase transactional revenue.

AD is currently a Global Vice President with Dayforce, a leader in Human Capital Management software. He was recently an executive with S&P Global, a Fortune 500 company. He has extensive experience in financial services, automotive, energy, human capital management, and retail, and has led global teams in AI, advanced analytics, digital strategy, service operations, mergers and acquisitions, product development, UX design, and IT. Notable achievements include spearheading the service operations integrations for the $44 billion S&P Global and IHS Markit merger (2020-2022) and publishing a book on Artificial Intelligence in Business and Technology (2023). His areas of focus and interests are digital marketing and strategy, market research, collaboration, web content management systems, UI/UX, social computing, mobile computing, and researching emerging technologies.

In his current role, Will leads Flexential’s cybersecurity practice as the VP of Cybersecurity Services. This practice provides security, risk, and compliance assessments, incident response, penetration testing, and disaster recovery services, and cybersecurity program development to customers across various industries. This role has given him an opportunity to view cybersecurity programs across numerous industries at diverse levels of maturity and provide guidance and support to develop their practices. This insight has given Will a unique perspective on the best ways to build an effective cybersecurity program when it comes to risk management, vulnerability management, governance, incident response, training and awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Hailing from a background that spans construction, IT, medical devices, healthcare and even Disneyland, Tim brings a unique fusion of business acumen and project management expertise to his role.

Tim earned his B.S. in Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and furthered his academic journey with an MBA in Strategic Management from Regis University.

Professional Background

Currently serving as the Senior Program Manager for the most extensive business area at Terumo BCT, Tim oversees all projects within the department. He adeptly manages a team of Project and Program Managers in developing medical devices for blood and cell therapies. Tim finds immense satisfaction in his role’s challenges, relishing the opportunity to contribute to an industry that plays a vital role in saving lives.

Tim’s journey in project management commenced in Boston, where he contributed to the monumental Big Dig project. His career took him to California, where he managed multimillion-dollar projects at Disneyland and played a role in Disney’s California Adventure opening. Seeking a family-oriented environment, Tim relocated to Colorado, transitioning his career to the critical fields of medical devices and healthcare.

Danny Brahman is a versatile technology leader with over a decade of experience building software products across high-growth startups and established enterprises. At companies like Lattice and RealVision, he has led engineering teams through the full lifecycle of product development—from early ideation to production deployment.

Danny’s technical expertise spans real-time distributed systems, machine learning infrastructure, and large-scale data engineering. He has architected event-driven systems with Kafka, built pipelines with Apache Spark, and integrated large language models (LLMs) into production-grade applications. His work spans both infrastructure development with Kubernetes and cloud platforms, as well as user-facing product design.

Prior to his time in higher education, Nathan served as the IT Director for a national healthcare staffing and human resources firm overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure, developing web-based staffing solutions, developing and maintaining the company websites and more.

Trent Bunnell is a retired Army Military Intelligence Officer and Cybersecurity professional with over 30 years of experience. Trent has worked for multiple three-letter agencies within the government and also spent time as a consultant in the public sector. He is currently working with Space Force to develop new ways to protect satellites and ground-based infrastructure.

Trent holds master’s degrees in Cybersecurity and Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University, as well as two graduate certifications, along with a CompTIA Security+ and ISC2 CISSP.

Wendy Charles currently serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor in the Health Informatics and Healthcare Management programs for the University of Denver’s College of Professional Studies. She is a scientist with over 30 years of experience in clinical research operations and compliance, including serving as an Institutional Review Board (IRB) Director for eight years.

Professional Background

Wendy has served for over a dozen years as a leader in industry and hospital setting management, including as Chief Scientific Officer for a software company. She has also published extensively about digital health and currently serves as the Editor in Chief of an academic journal section. As an educator, Wendy has been teaching graduate students for several years. In addition to teaching at DU, she continues to teach the business of digital health at the University of Colorado Denver and research ethics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She also served on several international committees that advise governments and industries about standards and regulatory interpretations.
